Happy Monday!
Today we started our Hero's Journey plan in Language Arts. Students are going to utilize the plan to create a fictional narrative about a hero. Here is the video we watched to spark our interest.

In Math we continued to work on our Pixel Art. We utilized squares and rectangles to create a picture. Students then utilized these images to find Area and Perimeter of their shapes.
In Social Studies we started to do some research on Blackfoot people. We used this website https://www.glenbow.org/blackfoot/EN/flash/index.htm to find generate questions. Students will begin to find answers to their proposed research questions tomorrow.
Students also received their spelling words for this week.
We had Ignite, PE, and Music as well today.
