Hi Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the first week of online learning. I understand that this is a huge change for everyone and it can be overwhelming. We are all learning this together.

Remember that our first two Google Meet calls are on Monday from 8-10 am or 12:30-2:30 pm. Students can log in at any point during those two time slots to connect, get support and ask questions. They can access the calls through a link posted on our Google Classroom Stream Tab.

They will simply need to click on the link and then hit the “Join Now” button on the right hand side.

This week coming up I have provided students with 6 different learning opportunities. I have highlighted three “Must” tasks. These will be the tasks that I am using to continue to assess student learning and will be a priority. The “Should” and “Could” tasks can be utilized to help further develop student understanding and extend learning. Remember, as requested by the government, students are required to participate in 5 hours per week of learning.

Must Tasks (will be marked)

Math 90 Degree Angles Lesson and Student Pages

Mathletics - Right Angle Relation Assignment

Common Lit Reading Comprehension - Strong for Skeena

Should Tasks
