Due to the weather this week, we will likely have indoor recess and lunch every day. We are doing are best to provide movement break opportunities for students throughout the day.

In Math we have begun long division. We are utilizing the Family Method and graphic organizers to help us with our practice. I will continue to model problems, work through problems as a group, and have students practice independently or with a partner throughout the week.

In Language Arts we finished typing up the Call to Action part of our story today. Students will write their Trails (rising action) over the next couple days. 

In Science students finished their explanations for how their game board works. They then had time to play their own game boards, as well as another groups, and receive some feedback on them. 

In Social Studies we did a Close Read and began to answer comprehension questions on (ask your child to explain close reading to you) of a text titled "who was left out of confederation." Ask your child one thing they learned while reading. 

Tomorrow is PJ day (whole School Spirit day). Please remind your child to wear a clean pair of Pajamas if they wish.
