Happy Friday!
Today in Social Studies we examined the last 3 physical regions of Canada in preparation for our inquiry project starting next week.
In Math we utilized Mathletics to review addition with regrouping, subtracting with borrowing, and rounding numbers.
For Science we learned about the 4 types of clouds, what they look like, and how clouds are predictors of weather. Following this we went outside to record the temperature utilizing thermometers and sketch clouds. Students were then asked to utilize their understanding of the types of clouds to discern what type of cloud they sketched.
In PE we had a variety of stations providing student choice.
At the end of the day students had 15 minutes of choice time as a reward for raiding over $70 for Terry Fox and completing their classroom fitness challenge.
Students will have spelling quizzes on Monday.
Monday is Picture Day.
